10th Annual Pacawa Pounder
10th Annual COED 4s Grass Volleyball Tournament
A and B Level Play:
Pool Play followed by upper and lower Double Elimination Tournaments
$120 entry fee per team, due day of event.
Registration at 8AM

QUADS TOURNAMENT RULES
Tournament Format: Pool play format with Upper and Lower Double Elimination Playoffs.
Roster: Roster maximum is 6, 3 of each gender. The two additional players can be added to your team for an additional cost of $30 per player.
Rotating Additional Players: Any player that starts an individual game must finish that game unless there is an injury. Your are allowed to rotate a player in after a completed game but they must finish that game, unless injury occurs.
Scoring: All games will be played using rally scoring.
Pool Play - Pools randomly drawn at check in.
4 teams per pool
Pool of 4 - 6 games to 21 (hard cap)
Pool of 5 (if needed) - 8 games to 15 (hard cap)
Tournament Seeding: Seeding is strictly determined by Point Differential.
Playoffs - 1 game to 30 (no cap).
Time and Daylight permitting, we will have the semi finals and finals in each division, play best of 3 games.
If so, the first two games will be to 21 (no cap) and the third to 15 (no cap).
Tips: No open hand tips.
Double Contact: Players may double contact any first ball over (including serves) provided the ball is not held.
Let Serves: Let Serves are NOT legal.
Serve receive: Open hand passes are legal.
Blocking: A block is not counted as a team hit.
Foot Digs: Foot Digs are legal.
Setting Over: When the ball is set into the opponents court, the setters shoulders must be "Squared Up" or Perpendicular to the line of flight of the ball.
Time Outs: Each team is allowed one 30 second timeout per game. Time out may be called prior to server receiving ball on either side of court between plays.
Side Changes: Teams should switch sides of the court after every 7 points in games to 15 or 21, and every 10 points for games to 30. Teams are allowed to decide another interval if agreed upon otherwise you use these defaults.
Footwear: Players may not wear cleats or spikes of any kind, trail running shoes are legal. Players may play barefoot.
Forfeit Rule: A 10 minute forfeit rule is in effect, subject to Tournament directors discretion.

MISC Info/FAQ
What is the weather policy? This is a Rain or Shine event.
Play will continue through inclement weather as much as possible - if it's necessary to stop play, it will be postponed in 30 min. increments until conditions are suitable to resume play. It's very important that all teams remain close to the event site so that games may resume in a timely manner once the weather has improved enough to resume play!
