Даниела Белчева - вокали Васил Спасов - пиано и аранжименти Михаил Иванов - контрабас Димитър Семов - барабани В центъра на проекта стои изключителното влияние на една емблематична за музиката на 20 век фигура - Джони Мичъл.
Създаден през 2023 година по повод 80-годишнината на иконата, проектът отдава почит към нейната неподражаема музика и дух. Канадската певица и артист има 10 награди "Грами", автор е в 19 студийни албума и колаборатор на легенди като Хърби Хенкок,Уейн Шортър, Джако Пасториъс, Чарлс Мингъс. Нейната музика продължава да вдъхновява поколения изпълнители - сред тях Мадона, Принс, Сийл, Бьорк, Елтън Джон, Хари Стайлс, Тейлър Суифт. "С музикантите в този проект споделяме огромен респект към Джони, тя променя света на популярната музика и продължава да вълнува със своите философски текстове, неконвенционални композиции и дълбоко светоусещане", разказва Даниела Белчева. "Това е наша интерпретация на популярни нейни песни - Big Yellow Taxi, A Case of You, Both Sides Now, Hejira и други.

A project offering an original interpretation of some of the most iconic songs from the repertoire of the legendary Joni Mitchell, accompanied by a brief narrative about her life and artistry, seen through the eyes of an admirer. Daniela Belcheva – vocals Vasil Spasov – piano & arrangements Mihail Ivanov – double bass Dimitar Semov – drums At the heart of this project lies the extraordinary influence of one of the most emblematic figures in 20th-century music — Joni Mitchell. Created in 2023 to mark the icon’s 80th anniversary, the project pays tribute to her incomparable music and spirit. The Canadian singer and artist is a 10-time Grammy Award winner, the creator of 19 studio albums, and a collaborator with legends such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, and Charles Mingus. Her music continues to inspire generations of artists, including Madonna, Prince, Seal, Björk, Elton John, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift. “We, the musicians in this project, share a deep respect for Joni. She changed the world of popular music and continues to move audiences with her philosophical lyrics, unconventional compositions, and profound worldview,” says Daniela Belcheva. “This is our interpretation of some of her most beloved songs — Big Yellow Taxi, A Case of You, Both Sides Now, Hejira, and others. The format is piano trio and voice, with arrangements by Vasil Spasov.”
