Bronze Fields Sessions @ Plett ARTS Festival

Meet at 2 pm to wander the sculpture garden with a glass of bubbly while the forge heats up - Robbie's bronze heron with dripping wings, finely crafted birds and wild creatures. and unexpected works inspired by his residencies and experiences in different parts of the country. Robbie Leggat takes you through the ancient lost wax process he uses to create his works, and then into the barn for the spectacular red molten bronze pouring demonstration.

A short walk into the forest and you settle on the wooden benches for a music concert under the canopy of ancient trees with Wendy Oldfield and Keenan, who have been making music together after finding each other in the Wilderness in 2019. Wendy’s unique style of songwriting is highlighted by Keenan’s style of playing and his versatility on many different instruments - banjo, electric and acoustic guitars.

From sweet sweet songs to funky up beat percussion-based groovy tunes, the show will leave you high and wanting more.
