Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) invites business and industry leaders from across the region to a collaborative morning of insight, discussion, and partnership-building.
The Regional Business & Industry Forum unites employers, educators, and community partners to explore workforce needs, economic trends, and strategies to strengthen Eastern Iowa’s talent pipeline.
This year, EICC is combining its four college-specific forums into one regional event — fostering broader collaboration and a unified approach to workforce development.
Event Highlights:
▪️Presentation of key findings from EICC’s Workforce Development and Training Survey
▪️Keynote address: “Building a Learning Culture” by Dean Heffta, leadership speaker and founder of Clarus Results
▪️Interactive roundtable discussions on workforce challenges, training needs, and emerging skills
▪️Direct engagement with EICC leadership, faculty, and workforce development teams
“By bringing industry leaders together in one room, we can identify shared challenges, spark new ideas, and co-create solutions that help both our students and our employers thrive.”
— Ashlee Spannagel, Vice Chancellor of Workforce Development, EICC
