Rag Rug Workshop

Love those beautiful heirloom rugs you see everywhere, but don't know how to make them yourself?


Come on by this class and learn! These make amazing gifts for anyone you know, any time of the year, and they are the perfect rag stash eaters!


Attendees will bring 5 yards of cotton fabric, and a size 15-19 mm crochet hook. We will cover the process from start to finish, including turning the fabric into strips the right size, learning to attach them securely - without sewing - and learning the basic oval and rectangle rug pattern. You will go home with one partial rag rug - Progress varies person to person - and a printout with helpful tips and tricks, as well as all the knowledge you gain. Come and bring a friend, bring your tea or coffee, and have a great time learning something new! A small snack board will be available throughout the day in case anyone gets peckish.
