From Starter to Loaf: Mastering Sourdough at Home

Hello baking enthusiast! I am thrilled to be offerring baking classes at my cottage bakery- Squirrel Bakery. I have been running my small bakery for more than two years and been baking for 8 years. Food has always had a special place in my heart as it is one of the things that builds communities, creates new frienships and nourshishes our souls and bodies.

This workshop is a little escape from our digital, busy, hectic lives in order to slow down, focus on our senses and work with the dough in a mindful way.

-What does the workshop look like?

It is conducted in a small group ( up to 5 people) where you’ll learn everything from feeding your starter to pulling a golden, crackly loaf out of the oven.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to perfect your technique, this class will leave you confident and excited to bake at home.

What’s Included:

• A live sourdough starter
• Hands-on dough mixing, shaping & scoring practice
• A bread basket with your shaped loaf
• A customised apron made by a local sewer for remembering this beautiful class

• Squirrel bakery is located in a white townhouse right near the road. There is always plenty of parking space. When you see a big blue and yellow Stand with Ukraine sign, it means you are at the right place:)
