Speaker Series: Talk Saves Lives

Talk Saves Lives is a 45-minute evidence-informed experience helping attendees understand that some people are more at risk than others, notice the signs when someone is considering suicide, and know what to ask and do.

Our series aims to bring local topic experts to the library to share their knowledge with the general community--everyone is welcome! A Q&A/discussion will follow each presentation.

After almost 30 years at Behavioral Health Services North, Bonnie retired as the Director of Employee
Assistance Services in April of 2022. She became a certified trainer in many evidence-based and evidence-informed suicide prevention/intervention trainings. Bonnie continues educating our North Country community in her retirement as well as traveling the state to educate many others.

Lifelong Learning for All will be held the first Wednesday of each month (except holidays) at 5:30 PM in the library auditorium.
