Why do you need this? Well the simple answer is that "the body won't go where the mind hasn't"....meaning that terrible day when you come across a farm accident, car accident, or are involved in an assault or simply need to help someone who banged their head at work...rapid, proper training can save a life. You don't have to have any medical experience to learn quick and easy ways to help prevent death!
Our instructors, (army special mission medics, firefighter/paramedics and sniper team medics) make this class fun and easy to understand! We aren't going to overwhelm you with a bunch of complicated words or procedures...because the reality of it is...you don't need all that mumbo jumbo. We teach you how to use minimal medical equipment to save lives! Keep it simple!

What to bring: Not much! Maybe a snack? If you have your own med-bag or first aid kit...bring it and we can review it with you!
What will you learn:
We teach the simple "MARCH" algorithm to keep things simple and easy to remember!
-Early contact with first responders
-What kills people (simply put!): The lethal triad..."stop the bleeding, keep them breathing, keep them warm!"
-Tourniquets
-Pressure Dressings
-Chest, Head and Ab wounds
-Moving the victim: Team and Single carries and drags.
-Applied treatments/hands-on training
-Victim hand-off : What does EMS need to know?
