We will meet at 9am. There's a 15-minute grace period for our cousins who live far away and currently working on being on time. We will start our walk at 9:15 sharp.

Parking & Trail Info for Blackwater Creek Nature Preserve (Red Loop)

📍 Location: 2469 Patrinostro Road, Plant City, FL 33565

🚗 Parking:
• The parking area is unpaved and located at the end of Patrinostro Road.
• It’s a small, open lot with no designated spaces, so be mindful when parking.
• There are no restrooms or potable water on-site, so plan accordingly!

🥾 What to Expect:
• The Red Loop is a 5-mile scenic trail through oak hammocks, pine flatwoods, and along Blackwater Creek.
• Mostly flat terrain with some sandy and uneven areas—hiking shoes recommended!
• Trails are well-marked, but cell service can be spotty, so download a map on All Trails if needed.
• Wildlife sightings are common, including deer, gopher tortoises, and various birds.
• Bring bug spray, especially during warmer months.
