If you've never celebrated Kwanzaa before, this is your invitation to begin!

In partnership with the Plainfield Department of Parks & Recreation, join us for an opening ceremony designed to welcome families into the rich traditions and principles of Kwanzaa. Whether you're continuing a longtime practice or discovering these teachings for the first time, there's a place for you here.

We'll explore the seven principles together, share stories, and participate in activities that bring the spirit of Kwanzaa to life. Bring your family, bring your curiosity, and bring an open heart.
Let's kick off Kwanzaa together with music, games, and community. ALL are welcome!
