Chad Hollister is a native Vermonter who has been traversing the country and globe for over 30 years. His music is a voice for the positive which is needed in our current world today more than ever. Whether solo acoustic or with his nine piece band, it's always a unique show you'll always remember.
Kris Gruen lives in Vermont on his family farm. His voice and songs are powerful with a dynamic, lyrical and melodic edge that leave you wanting to hear the next one. From note one, he'll capture your soul. Come listen!
Bow Thayer is an American Roots gem. His songs have a familiar , classic sound reminiscent of The Band but a sound all his own. Levon Helm produced his "Spend It All" recording and he delves into folk, blues, improv and bluegrass meshed all into one. Having invented the "Bojotar" (a mash up of a resonator , electric and banjo), he's always finding ways to reinvent himself. Come listen!
VT Bluegrass Pioneers are about as VT as one can get featuring Banjo Dan Lindner on banjo and vocals, his brother Willie Lindner on mandolin and vocals and Danny Coane on acoustic guitar and vocals. This trio of VT legends features classic bluegrass as well as their own tunes brought to life by Banjo Dan and the Midnight Plowboys catalog that used to tour the country filling theaters. Their authentic bluegrass takes you to another place where music is played with no mics on a porch with a few cows in the field. Come catch that feeling!
If you’ve actually made it this far in this post -congrats and thanks !
The coolest part is these are all my friends and am honored to know them and even cooler to get to make music with them on evenings like this ! Every dollar spent on a ticket goes to Capstone to help Vermonters who lost their food assistance for six weeks. I knew I had an open December and Feed VT was born.
Thanks for your support and we’ll see you Dec. 21 for an evening you’ll remember forever when we were able to help out our neighbors and their families.
