When words meet images: writer Sarah Yahm and artist Jenni Bee collaborate to bring scenes from Yahm’s novel Unfinished Acts of Wild Creation to life through comics. The book intricately weaves themes of motherhood, chronic illness, grief, and the quest for meaning in the face of mortality.

Join Yahm and Bee for a conversation about the novel, their creative collaboration, and the interplay between storytelling in words and images. Books will be available, and original comics will be on exhibit. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with both creators and experience their work in both literary and visual forms.
