Picture Plain City will build on Plain City’s 2018 Comprehensive Plan and address land use, housing, transportation, infrastructure, parks and recreation, economic development, and more. Based on projected population growth, Plain City is expected to transition from village to city status by 2030 under Ohio law. This shift will have implications for how the local government is structured and how services are delivered.
🗺️The Comprehensive Plan will help the Village prepare for this transition by identifying policies and infrastructure needs that support a successful and smooth changeover, while maintaining the community’s values and quality of life. Your insights will feed directly into the planning conversation and developing plan update, the roadmap that guides every major decision on land use, infrastructure, and community character.
