Piera’s art is deeply personal, inspired by her Italian roots, rich life experiences, and years as an Air Force wife. Her subjects celebrate food, wine, and culture while also exploring nature, whimsy, fashion, and American patriotism. Her newest collection, the “Time Series,” delves into the many ways time captures our imagination and shapes our lives.
Working primarily with acrylics and pencil, Piera creates bold, textured paintings and finely detailed portraits that invite viewers to engage both visually and emotionally. Her passion and skill have earned her multiple First Place awards in Acrylic Painting, a Best of Show at the Northeast Fair, and recognition as a recipient of one of First Friday Scranton’s prestigious Judith Youshock Artist Grants.
