Our Favorite Things
The Wilmot Wind Faculty Quintet ( Annette Farrington, flute; Elizabeth Henderson, oboe; Marcy Bacon, clarinet; Colleen Wolf, horn; Jacob Auchman, bassoon) have chosen some of their favorite works from the wind quintet repertoire to celebrate their fifteenth anniversary performing together. Works include Tomas Svoboda's Concerto for Woodwind Quintet which ably features each member, Paquita D'Rivera's Aires Tropicales provides an aural trip to the warmer climes of the Southern hemisphere, and the program concludes with Samuel Barber's Summer Music which has become a staple in the wind quintet repertoire
