About the event

Voices of Valor: Stories of Resilience, Recovery, and Hope from New England’s Front Lines
We hope you’ll join us for this powerful day. You give so much of yourself to others — this day is for you.

Registration/Continental Breakfast: 8 - 8:30 a.m.
Country Club of Pittsfield, 639 South Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201

Every day, people like you step forward into roles that most others could never imagine. Whether in uniform, in classrooms, in courtrooms, in hospitals, or on the streets — you show up. You witness moments of crisis, carry the weight of trauma, and keep moving forward because others are depending on you. That kind of work is courageous. It is also heavy. And too often, those who give the most rarely have a space to pause, reflect, and be supported.

This one-day gathering, for police, fire, EMS, nurses, teachers, school adjustment counselors, guidance counselors, corrections officers, human service workers, court staff, DA's office, crisis responders, and all who serve in high-stress professions, offers strategic, tactical, and practical drills and skills that can be deployed before, during, and after stressful incidents to maintain holistic wellness. Through the integration of drills and skills into daily life, participants will gain actionable tools to enhance resilience and effectively manage and clear the stress of daily life. Scientific research indicates that these strategies have a significant impact on overall well-being. Ultimately, this workshop is a commitment to promoting wellness and resilience across all domains of life.

Applications for MA Licensed Mental Health Counselor continuing education credits & Social Worker continuing education credits have been submitted.
