How do I sell my gear?
Bring clean and functional equipment during drop-off hours (Oct 6th–10th, 10 AM – 6 PM) To our Pittsfield BBB location basement - garage door will be open, you can’t miss it - 502 East St, Pittsfield, MA, 01201. Our team will help tag and price items.
Can I drop off gear outside of these hours or to a different BBB Location?
No. All gear will need to be brought to the Pittsfield BBB during drop off hours.
Can I pre-register items online?
Yes. Use the button below to find our online registration form. Complete the form to register your items. Pre registration is not necessary but will expedite the intake process. Please note that you will need to fill out one form for each item you will be selling.
Is there a fee to sell items?
Yes!
Option 1: BBB Gift Card 90% to you / 10% to BBB
Option 2: Check 70% to you / 30% to BBB
What can I bring?
Skis: Current adult/kids skis, touring, telemark. Older skis (10+ years) often don’t sell and may have non-indemnified bindings (definition below).
Snowboards: Recent models, with functioning bindings or without bindings, no broken/delaminated decks.
Boots: Must be wearable, with intact liners/closures. Excessively worn or 12+ years old won’t be accepted.
Snowshoes: Modern aluminum models in usable condition.
Poles: Pairs only, with baskets.
Outerwear: Hardshell Jackets and Snowpants only. Must be washed and in good functioning condition. Limit to 6 items. Bring your best sellers.
What is a non-indemnified binding?
A binding that manufacturers and insurers no longer support for service (usually 10+ years old). Shops cannot adjust or test them, and they may not release safely. For safety, these bindings cannot be accepted.
What items are not accepted?
Skis with non-indemnified bindings
Nordic / XC Skis and boots
Helmets, goggles, race accessories/ gear, gloves, socks, thermal wear, winter boots, beanies, ice skates, or non-ski sporting goods
Fur/leather/dress jackets, sweaters, or casual clothing
Standalone bindings (not mounted on skis or snowboards)
Anything broken, damaged, or unsafe. If you wouldn’t use it, don’t bring it.
