Q-MoB Summer Potluck Dinner (Pittsfield, MA)

Celebrate summer abundance with queer men from all over the region by sharing great potluck brunch food, beverages, conversation, & forest views in this centrally-located beautiful home of Michael Pizzi & Ken Brickman.

IMPORTANT: Hosts request you register no later than 8/15 so they will have a reasonably accurate idea of the size of our group.

We encourage you to make a dish that includes ingredients from your nearest Farmer's Market -- so we can enjoy the abundance of summer AND support our local farmers. If you're not a cook, then just bring an entree, salad, &/or summer beverage from your favorite deli, grocery deli, farmer's market, or co-op. Please be mindful to bring something you think is delicious and that you believe others will enjoy. Let us share delicious, creative abundance.

WHAT TO BRING

• a dish and/or beverage to share with about 6 other people. Please consider making a dish that includes lots of ingredients from you local farmer's market, as our local farmers need our support in continuing to bring us fresh abundance. Also, please make a small sign for your dish that discloses if it contains any of these common allergens/restrictions: dairy, gluten, eggs, meat/chicken/fish, nuts/peanuts, MSG, preservatives, food colors, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, soy, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, etc.
• $10-$20 Tax-Deductible Donation , in cash, or check made out to "Q-MoB Inc" (Q-MoB is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit), or so you never have to donate at any regular Q-MoB event, or just come for free if this is the very 1st Q-MoB event you have ever attended or if you are low-income and want a scholarship or work-exchange (just let us know when you register)
• Queer male friends or neighbors

DIRECTIONS/PARKING: Berkshire Country Meadows is a development across from Zucchini's restaurant on North Steet (Rte 7). As you come into the development, Cherryhill Dr. is first left. Parking at the top of the hill and we are 2 houses down on the right from the parking lot.

ALCOHOL POLICY: All Q-MoB potlucks are open to men 18 & older, and if anyone under 21 attends, we will card everyone who wants to drink alcohol and obviously not serve alchohol to anyone under 21, and we remind everyone it is a crime to give alcohol to someone younger than 21 and for someone under 21 to use alcohol. Q-MoB takes its commitment to preventing underage drinking very seriously. Men under 18 are not permitted at any Q-MoB event unless they have parental consent and this consent has been verified by Q-MoB.

CARPOOLING/RIDE-SHARE: Carpooling is a great way to get to know other men, save money on gas, and help to reduce your carbon footprint and save the planet. If you need a ride or are open to carpooling, please indicate that when you are registering, & our ride coordinator will try to match you with people nearby who are interested in carpooling or offering rides.

OR : Besides purchasing your Tanglewood ticket, please donate $10-$20 to help assure Q-MoB can continue to offer more than 20 activities & multiple resources & services to rural queer men all over the region. If you attend 2 or more Q-MoB events/month, please consider becoming a monthly sustaining donor member. By donating $25, $50, $75, or $100/month you can help to sustain the incredible variety of activities, services, and resources Q-MoB provides and assure all of these activities are accessible to men regardless of their age, income, or ability, and best of all you can avoid having to donate at each and every event you attend. Monthly Sustaining Members pay only once a month and then can attend all our activities with no further donation.
