Welcome to WHISPERS, an event series focused on intimacy, connection, and queer art. While we utilize different themes and mediums for each show, we keep a continued focus on creating safe spaces for the queer community and our allies.
WHISPERS: Are You Afraid of the Dark? - is an ode to the show so many Millennials grew up watching but with the WHISPERS format that we've come to love.

Drift into an October state of mind by joining the WHISPERS midnight society for an evening of storytelling, poetry, and burlesque at The Intimacy Lounge.
Enjoy some of Pittsburgh's most talented storytellers and artists as they bring you to the edge of darkness and lure you back by the light of flame.
We've also added a burlesque performer from Columbus OH and a poet from Reading PA to our Are you afraid of the Dark line-up!
In our classic WHISPERS experience, we encourage the audience to stay after the show. Eat, drink, and discuss what you've experienced. Select performers will have additional pieces and reserving 1:1 experiences is highly encouraged. These intimate moments are what make these evenings so unique.
Each room offers a different encounter, a different point-of-view, and a different memory. Reserve time with the artist you connected with most or take time to visit all three.
Reservations will be made at intermission and after the show. Each experience is $10 and paid to our madame for the evening.
Clear instructions will be given again throughout the night.
The venue is well decorated and has beautiful lighting. We encourage guests to dress to theme or in whatever makes them feel incredible. We are here to experience art, and you are art as well.
Light fare and an alcoholic punch will be available after. Bringing your own drinks is welcome as well.
