Sons of Brixton bring a high energy Clash tribute to City Winery Pittsburgh — Saturday, November 29 PITTSBURGH, PA —
Pittsburgh’s own Clash tribute, Sons of Brixton, will storm the stage at City Winery Pittsburgh on Saturday, November 29, 2025 for a one-night celebration of the band that defined punk with heart, hooks, and fury.
Expect a career-spanning set that dives into London Calling, Combat Rock, and beyond—complete with sing-along anthems and deep cuts for the diehards. "We chase the spirit of the songs without compromising the integrity of the music” says front man Alex Peightal. “The Clash made music that could move a crowd and move a cause. We try to bring both to every show.”
From “London Calling,” “Clampdown,” and “Train in Vain” to “Complete Control,” “London’s Burning” and “Should I Stay or Should I Go,” Sons of Brixton deliver the grit, groove, and global rhythms that made The Clash essential. “It’s punk rock with widescreen ambition,” Peightal adds. “Dub, rockabilly, soul—when those elements shot through their version of a blast furnace, it really unified the room. "
Peightal promises a communal night out: bring your friends and your vocal courage. As the Clash sang "This here music cause a sensation" indeed, it still does.
