For our WWII Pacific game day...
1. Liam will run Axis & Allies: Pacific 1940 and if enough gamers Europe 1940...with minis painted by Liam and his mom to cover the 5' wide combined maps!
2. Parker will run the classic 1966 Avalon Hill boardgame Guadalcanal!
3. Mike will run a WWII Pacific miniatures skirmish game using Chain of Command rules!
4. Chuck will run a WWII Pacific dogfight game using Blood Red Skies! A complete game only takes an hour or less, so you can play this AND another game.
In addition, Dan (new to group) will demo his computer program that largely automates the Great Campaigns of the American Civil War boardgames! He will run a 3-turn scenario of Stonewall Jackson's Way (2nd Bull Run/Manassas Campaign).
We will also have the following WWII Pacific games from the museum's boardgame collection:

Island War: Four Pacific Battles (SPI), including Guadalcanal, Saipan, Leyte (Philippines), and Okinawa games, complexity 2.0 of 5, playing time 2 hours
Memoir '44: Pacific Theater - newly donated!
Pacific War: The Struggle Against Japan (Victory Games), complexity 4.5 of 5, playing time for scenarios 1 hour and up
Submarine (AH), complexity 3.3 of 5, playing time 1-3 hours
U.S.N. (SPI), complexity 3.5 of 5, playing time 6 hours
Victory in the Pacific (AH), complexity 2.4 of 5, playing time 5 hours
