Kamin Science Center Is Prepared for Liftoff!
A new name. A new look. The same mission—to ignite your curiosity.
The countdown has begun. Pittsburgh’s most-visited museum is preparing for (re)launch!
From Sept. 2–12, Carnegie Science Center will temporarily close to complete its exciting new transformation. When we (re)open as Kamin Science Center, come celebrate with a FREE (Re)Launch Day on Sat., Sept. 13, full of hands-on activities, science demos, giveaways, and special surprises.
As one of the four Carnegie Museums, our new name honors the extraordinary generosity of Daniel G. and Carole L. Kamin and reflects our bold commitment to connect people and science, igniting curiosity that endures for a lifetime.
