Minimal Effort is back for the Night Shift on December 13th! While most of the team will be away for the holidays, some of our good friends will be keeping the vibes high back home, serving up techy minimal grooves at Cobra with a stacked lineup of local artists on deck to bring the heat you expect from the Night Shift. This will be a groovy night showcasing some top local talent you know and love coming together to throw down some minimal & techy beats for us at our weekly Saturday showcase in the Void sound system.
This edition features a new standout SYS, from Birmingham, UK, Alex Jouin, who you may remember from his performances opening for AJ Christou or Kellie Allen, and MAYO & Edgar Allan, who have been regulars to the Cobra booth over the past few years and always light up the dancefloor.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
