Join Ranger Chris for a tour of Frick Park Trails! Over the course of the summer, this trail series will explore different trails around Frick Park giving everyone new ways to experience the park from multiple different entrances! Participants are encouraged to sign up for event updates, pack water, and wear closed toe shoes for safety. These hikes will be easy-to-moderate pace and under 2.5 miles. Participants should be comfortable walking on crushed stone terrain, up and down slopes, and crossing potentially slippery boardwalks. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcomed.
September 3rd: This hike will be meeting at the bowling green area of Frick Park (use residential address of 7317 Reynolds Street) to explore the northern most section of the park. Ample street parking is available along Reynolds Street and a portable bathroom unit will be available. Please pack your own water. This hike will be approximately 1.45 miles long and will be a gradual pace with a 125ft elevation gain. All trails will be wide and covered in mostly compressed limestone.
