Future and Fate

COP opens our 2025-26 season on October 11, 2025 at Levy Hall of Rodef Shalom. Featured soloists Jennifer Gerhard Mangone and Jeff Mangone will perform Dittersdorf’s Sinfonia Concertante for Viola and Bass. Next, COP will present the Pittsburgh premiere “I Have Seen the Future” by Matt Browne, the winner of the 2024 Kreitler Composition Competition. The program concludes with one of Mozart’s landmark masterpieces, the Symphony No. 40 in G Minor, to be performed by a chamber orchestra more akin to what Mozart would have envisioned for the piece.
