In times of struggle—whether we’re facing it ourselves, supporting someone we care about, or carrying the weight of a shared crisis—help can come in many forms.
A quiet hand extended. A voice that speaks up. A small gesture that sparks hope. Courage found within.
These are the flickers that grow into flames.
From Flicker to Flame is a tribute to the helpers: caregivers, advocates, teachers, friends, strangers—and even the inner voice. It’s a celebration of the people and moments that ignite courage, offer comfort, and illuminate compassion in our lives. Join us in honoring those sparks—help us kindle the light that becomes the flame.
✨ Spotlight: Alina’s Light ✨
One of our featured artists, Sasha Phillips, is not only a gifted painter but also an attorney working with Alina’s Light
. Her piece in the show is a moving portrait of Alina, whose life was tragically cut short despite having a Protection From Abuse order.
Alina’s mother, Ellie, founded the nonprofit to honor her daughter and fight for stronger protections for victims of domestic violence. One of their initiatives, Alina’s Law, would allow courts to require electronic monitoring for individuals under a PFA—giving victims a real chance to get to safety.
💜 Songbird Artistry will donate 10% of all opening weekend sales to Alina’s Light to support their important work.
