Registration will be open through Thursday, October 23. Attendance is not guaranteed for those who do not pre-register. Instrument requests are due Monday, October 13.
Details for the day:
Check-in — 4 hours – 1.5 hours before kickoff, tentatively at Gold Lot 2 along W General Robinson St. Look for large rental truck.
Tailgate — 4 hours – 1.5 hours before kickoff, near the truck in Gold Lot 2.
Alumni Band Day activities are included in your annual Pitt Band Alumni Council dues of $40.00 which are payable upon online registration. This includes the game admission and tailgate. DUES AND A COMPLIMENTARY POLO WILL BE PROVIDED TO FIRST-YEAR GRADUATES (LAST 12 MONTHS) WHO REGISTER, FREE OF CHARGE.
There will be a check-in table at the tailgate before the game. All registrants, including Colorguard and Golden Girls, must check in upon arrival. Registered participants will be provided with a polo (if ordered), drill details, music (paper or electronic access), and drink tickets at this time.
Bring your instrument. Cases can be dropped off for storage on the truck until 80 minutes before kickoff, and can be picked up beginning in the third quarter.
We will also have limited instruments available to borrow on the day of the game. For anyone planning to borrow an instrument, PLEASE let us know on your registration form by Monday, October 13. We may not be able to honor requests received after this date as our supplies are limited and we need to know how many to load onto our truck. Note, however, that we are very short on mouthpieces and reeds, so please bring your own if at all possible.
We also plan to have light refreshments following the conclusion of the game and continuing for approximately 45–60 minutes.
