Because of the community’s incredible support over the past several months, the SEK Humane Society is no longer closing in December. We are thrilled to share that operations have now been extended through May 2026, with active fundraising continuing to keep our doors open beyond that date.
To celebrate this important victory, we’re hosting a Shelter Paw-ty, and you’re invited!
Event Highlights:
✨ Free cupcakes & bottled water
✨ Open shelter tours from Noon – 4PM
✨ Meet-and-greet opportunities with our adoptable animals
✨ A moment to acknowledge our community for keeping the mission alive
✨ Optional: Bring a small gift for our shelter tenants (treats, toys, or supplies are always appreciated!)
