This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk.
RUN. WALK. WAG. This year we welcome runners walkers AND leashed furry companions for a family-friendly morning!
The worry of leaving a beloved pet behind to escape abuse is a big reason some victim-survivors choose not to seek shelter. We want to change that by transitioning to a pet friendly shelter. Help Women Aware keep survivors and their beloved companion safe and together

Register in advance of race day (up to 11:59pm on 10.8) and save $10! Advance registration is $40. Registration on race day will be $50. Free for children 11 and under. No charge for leashed furry companions.
First 100 registrants receive a Swag Bag with giveaways.

Fall Photo Backdrop - Walkers runners pets and families can take a fun fall photo!
Dogs are welcome to walk with their owners during the 1-Mile Charity Walk but will not be permitted on the 5K course during the race for the safety of all participants.
