>8 stages with yardages ranging from 150 to 600 yards.
>Most stages will be between 1-4 targets, and 1-5 positions. 20 shots max per stage. Shooting from various barricades and positions. Be prepared with at least 160 rounds for the match and more for zero check or re-shoots. A min-max round count for the match will be provided when the Course of Fire is finalized.
>Scoring is time plus penalties for targets not hit. 90 second max time per stage, 20 second penalty per target not hit. So you score is the time (seconds) it took you to shoot all the targets with 20 shots maximum, and a penalty of 20 seconds added per target you did not hit.
The shooting is from “flat range” conditions (but ground is uneven) up valleys and hills to the targets. Although in beautiful Southern California, the weather can vary widely, so be prepared for cold or warm conditions, wet or dry.
No steel core ammunition will be allowed.
Tac Light- 223/556 Only, Barrel 18.1” or less, Optic 10x max if it has a 1X power on low end
Tac Heavy- 223/556 or 308/762, Only, Barrel 20.1” max, Optic 18x max
Open- any caliber, barrel 20.3” or longer, Optic 20x or more
Battle Rifle- 223/556 only, Red Dot & Magnifier or Prism style up to 6x max
Safety Requirements:
All gas guns must have a safety/chamber flag or safety magazine installed when not on the line and transporting between stages.
All gas guns must be bagged or cased when transported between your car to the stages.
