Appalachia Day Homecoming

Join us for a day of crafts, food, fellowship, and fun on October 11th, 2025!

The annual ALC Appalachia Day Homecoming celebration invites hundreds of friends and alumni to gather on campus to celebrate our mountain heritage. Guests enjoy traditional mountain music and browse booths displaying the arts and crafts of Appalachian artisans. Other events during this day of fun and fellowship include the annual Alumni Association Meeting, various athletic events, children’s storytelling, the induction of new members into the ALC Athletic Hall of Fame, the coronation of the Homecoming Queen and Princess, and the traditional soup bean supper.
