The Fish Passage Project
EBMUD Senior Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist and FOPCW Board Member Bert Mulchaey will present “The Long Journey Home, The Perseverance of Steelhead and Their Advocates in the Pinole Creek Watershed”
Bert will tell of the construction of an amazing fish passage which was completed last fall in the upper watershed. The replacement of an old culvert with a bridge, as well as many other enhancements in the area, removed the final obstruction for steelhead trying to reach the upper watershed to spawn.
