Hearthside Cooking Workshop

Join a hands-on hearthside cooking workshop in a historic kitchen led by colonial culinary interpreters.
Take part in learning basic cooking methods by preparing and tasting foods cooked over an open fire. The session compares 18th-century techniques with modern methods and guides participants through making things like biscuits, bacon, succotash, and apple pie.* (Menu subject to change at any time due to produce availability)
The best part? Getting to eat the foods you've cooked over a hot hearth!
Pre-registration is required due to limited workspace and small class size.
