The District wide event will kick off with a tasty brunch, what a treat! During Brunch, you will have the opportunity to “Brunch and Brag” this will be a great time to share information about your clubs and ideas you have. Following Brunch we will have our Annual Awards Ceremony. In the afternoon we will have a workshop with Q & A led by our National Representative Mr. Merlin Scales. Individual Clubs are welcome to have a table display and/or sell raffle tickets etc. as long as you bring your own card table.
By now your Club should have received Our Blue District Raffle Tickets. Please consider selling tickets to assist our District. This is our only District Fundraiser. The drawing will be held at our District Convention. Individuals may also buy these tickets to support the District.
Community Service Awards information must be posted to the Governor by October 1st. Please tally awards and submit them along with Yearly Awards forms. Mail to Joyce Maney Nobles, 101 Baby Bear Rd, Vanceboro, NC 28586.
Ads for convention booklets are due before 10/16/25. Prices are as follows: $20 half page or $40- full page. Please mail these ads to Mr. Tommy Hodges, District Treasurer, 307 Cedar Lane, Washington, NC.
Reservations for the District Convention are due by 10/31/25 so we can have a final headcount for Brunch. Please email/text/call these to Joyce Maney Nobles. The Convention cost is $15 per person. Funds will be collected at the door.
A brief business session will include election of District Officers.
In addition we will also be collecting and bringing canned or shelf stable food at the convention which will be given to the Salvation Army, Washington, NC.
Please bring Door Prizes for our annual Crazy Door Prize giveaways.
