Working Equitation Clinic

Megan Malan will teach the Youth and Horsemaster Pony Club riders, plus a few others, in groups of no more than four at a time, 2 hour slots/ no more than three at a time, 1.5 hour slots. $50 each rider. Riders may start out in-hand, but all attendees are expected to be able to ride at walk and trot in a small group independently; OR, to have a competent leader willing to walk and trot on their feet, holding a lead line, in the summer weather for up to two hours. Riders will be schooled around and through a selection of Working Equitation obstacles, all of which can be found in "Appendix B" of the official Rulebook at usawe.org . The work will all be done in the Mile-Track infield at the Pinehurst Harness Track-- so, be prepared for the weather!
August 2 (Saturday): USAWE "S" judge Polly Limond will preside over a schooling show in the same place. Youth riders welcome; riders new to the sport welcome!
