About the event

Moss Stories: A Micro World in Focus

Explore the intriguing world of moss with an Interpretive
Ranger. Participants will examine these ancient plants
using magnifying lenses and learn about their role in the
forest ecosystem. Afterward, they’ll create nature
journals with moss rubbings and sketches, combining
science, art, and imagination in a fun, hands-on activity.
Pre-registration (at least one day in advance) and
payment are required by calling 706-663-4858.
Admission is $5, with $10 for parking.
