A combination of art creation and nature exploration! This art class reflects the beauty and diversity of Minnesota's climate and ecosystems. Your student will enjoy an artistic journey as we explore local elements of nature.
Subject Matter: Each month we explore a different nature topic and create art based on that topic. Students will get to use and experience ALL types of art materials.

October: Light of Day & Dark of Night
November: Habitats & Hibernation
December: Snow & Ice & Everything Nice
Ages // 4 - 12
We implement a Montesorri type learning environment and a variety of developmental ages learn together.
Art Materials: Graphite, colored pencil, paint (watercolor, tempera and acrylic), air dry clay, paper mache, scrapbooking supplies, crafting supplies
Children who do well in Miss Angie's art classes:
- Can follow multi-step directions.
- Are toilet trained and able to use the restroom themselves.
- Have developing/established self regulation skills.
- Have developing/established communication skills.
- Can work independently as needed.
- Enjoy some interaction with peers.
- Enjoy spending time outdoors.
- Can be away from parent/caregiver up to two hours.

Sample Class Format
10 am // Class starts outside. Please dress for the weather.
10:30 am // Class moves inside for art instruction.
11:30 am // Class clean-up and free choice.
Class will be held in the upstairs of our building. The lower level will be available for caregivers and non-participating siblings to relax and connect with one another. A bathroom, kitchen, couch, full size table and chairs, toddler toys and climbing equipment are available for your use. This is MORE than just an art class. It is a family experience.
