Miss Angie’s After School Academy is a program for all youth entering grades 3rd-8th. Students gather directly after school for guided activities, help with homework and peer-to-peer support. Electronics (other than Chromebooks for homework) are checked at the door and returned upon parent pick up.

When || We follow the Pine Island Public Schools Calendar and are open from 3:30-6pm on all days school is in session.
Where || Miss Angie’s Place*, 208 N Main St, Pine Island. *Transportation from the Pine Island 5-12 building is available for a nominal fee.
Cost || $16/day for drop-in. Price decreases based on number of sessions purchased. Payment plans are available.

It is our mission to create a safe, fun and creative learning environment for ALL of our attendees. If behavior issues occur, staff will redirect the student to the best of their ability. If the behavior continues, the student may be removed from class and parents will be called. Miss Angie, parents and student will work together to create a behavior plan so the camper can return to planned activities. If expectations are not met, student may be sent home for the day. If at any time the safety of our staff, instructors, student, or property is at risk, the student will be removed from class immediately, sent home and possibly unable to return to class. Refunds will not be issued if your student is sent home and/or unable to return to class.
Sample Class Format
3:15 - 3:30 pm. Pick-up from school, settle in, snack
3:30 - 4 pm. Homework and/or reading. (No homework/reading on Fridays and other special days)
4 - 5 pm. Daily activity
5 - 6 pm. Clean up, free choice and parent pick-up
