Winter Frolic

Families, history buffs, and fans of winter fun are invited to the Snake River Fur Post’s annual Winter Frolic. Guests of all ages can participate in activities that helped Minnesotans of the past shake off the winter blues.

During the Winter Frolic, visitors can learn about winter during the fur trade and embrace the season with historic winter games and activities with historic reenactors from La Compagnie des Hivernants de la Riviere Saint Pierre.

There will also be opportunities to warm up in the site’s visitor center or around a blazing fire.

Cost is $8-12.
