Join Rangers at Ray Roberts Lake State Park Greenbelt Unit 455 Entrance on Saturday, September 20th, for some fun on a kayak while making a positive difference!
We will help preserve habitat by kayaking through the Trinity River Elm Fork, removing litter along the way. Ray Roberts Lake is fed by the Trinity River and provides water for people and wildlife in North Texas. The lake provides habitat for many native fish, reptile, amphibian, invertebrate, and bird species including bald eagles that winter on the lake.
Tandem and single kayaks will be provided by RESERVATION ONLY. Walking along the shoreline is also an option for those who do not want to kayak but still want to help (reservation is still required).
