"Boo-tiful" Thrifted Art Workshop — Second Session

Our first session sold out fast—so we’re thrilled to offer a second session of the “Boo-tiful” Thrifted Art Workshop on Saturday, October 25, from 1 - 4 p.m.!

Led once again by local artist LindaSue Spencer, this creative, hands-on workshop invites you to reimagine secondhand art through the lens of design, composition, and personal expression.

🎟️ The registration fee is $10.

What to Bring:
• A piece of thrifted art to paint on (choose a size you can finish in 3 hours!)
• Opaque paints of your choice
• Paintbrushes
• A paint rag (old t-shirt, towel, etc.)
• A cup for rinsing brushes

This is a great opportunity to refresh an old piece and explore your creativity in a relaxed, welcoming environment. All skill levels are welcome!

Artist Bio:
Creator of Lonely Sprout Studios, LindaSue Spencer was raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Mississippi. In a home short on resources but rich in imagination, she found joy and inspiration in nature—often pretending to be a frog or insect in her kudzu-covered backyard.

Drawing since childhood and painting since age 12, LindaSue’s work reflects her lifelong bond with art and the natural world. She’s passionate about sharing creativity and community through workshops like this one.
