Community Blessing of the Pets

Realizing the important role pets play in people’s lives, Bethesda UMC has scheduled a special service to honor and celebrate all creatures of God’s creation and the relationships we share with them. The "Community Blessing of the Pets" service will be held, weather permitting, on the church lawn on Saturday, October 11th at 10:30 a.m. All pets are welcome, provided they are under physical control at all times (leash, harness or crate) and are safe to be around. If your pet is unable to be present, please bring an article representing them (photo, collar, toy etc.) and it will be blessed on their behalf.
