For landowners in the tropics, it offers a powerful way to work with our climate, turning intense sun and rain into engines of abundance.

𝕋ap into the deep wisdom and passion of Lead Trainer, Bunya Halasz (Australia). His three decades of hands-on design and cultivation, from South East Asia to the Pacific and the Americas, will guide you to design, implement, and manage your own thriving landscape by combining the design principles of Permaculture with the powerful strategies of Syntropic Agroforestry.


𝕋his 7-day practical course provides adaptable solutions for projects of any size, from homesteads and community gardens to large market farms. You will leave knowing how to: 🌿

1. Apply core principles of natural succession and stratification
2. Design and plant productive plant layers that function as a forest system
3. Regenerate soil fertility rapidly with minimal external inputs.
4. Harness on-site water to reduce irrigation and build drought resilience.
5. Master natural pruning and biomass management for efficient upkeep
6. Integrate Permaculture Design for intelligent system placement.
7. Plan and Manage Forest Systems for abundant yields of food, timber, and income.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
🌿A field visit to Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to observe firsthand the forest ecosystems that inspire Syntropic Agroforestry principles.

🌿A field visit to a multi-generational, family-run forest to conduct a case study and site analysis of integrated system to produce Food, Fuel, Fiber, and Medicine.

🌿Real-World Group Design Projects for two distinct sites

🌿Hands-On Implementation: Translate theory into practice by co-creating a new kitchen garden and Syntropic Agroforestry plot within the 4-hectare grounds of the All Green Learning Centre.


COURSE VENUE
For over 20 years, the sustainably designed All Green Learning Centre in Khao Yai has been a sanctuary for health retreats and community outreach programmes on its lush 4 hectares. It is now embarking on an exciting new chapter: to evolve a small residential and volunteer community, working hand-in-hand to grow its own food and nurture complementary economies.
This course is the catalyst for this transformation. Together, we will help design and establish the agro-ecological systems that will contribute directly to the centre's re-envisioning process.
