Smut Slam Greater Philly: The First Taste is the Sweetest

Join us for the debut of Smut Slam Greater Philly, where we're celebrating all your most delectable first times with a rowdy night of diverse community, great food & drink, and steamy storytelling! It's spooky season, so you're invited to come in costume or your favorite goth wear if you want to get your Halloweenie on.

Not familiar with Smut Slam? It’s a storytelling open mic where audience members sign up for 5-minute slots to tell their best real-life, first-person, consensual sex stories. It’s queer-friendly, kink-friendly, lifestyle-friendly, body-positive, sex-positive, and wildly fun. No costumes (except for general Halloween costumes!), no notes, no gimmicks, just straight-up raw truth! See the full rules and how it works on our page. Smut Slam International was founded in 2015 by Cameryn Moore, and Slams currently take place in 25 cities around the world.

Your fabulous femme-cees are longtime Smut Slam Baltimore/DC producer and burlesque performer Diva Darling, joined by Lola Kat, known for her work as a community sex educator and as the curvy Vanna White of Vibrators in the Greater Philadelphia area. Stories will be judged in good fun by our fabulous judges' panel, who can't wait to give the top 3 tellers the "treat" of our coveted, carnal prizes. All storytellers, however, will go home with a little swag bag to reward their courage.

For the shy or secretive, we offer the Fuckbucket, where we invite you to share your sexiest anonymous questions or confessions to be read aloud onstage by your hosts between stories. Participate, and you'll be eligible for another steamy door prize in our drawing at the end of the night!

In honor of Smut Slam Greater Philly's big debut, our theme for the night is "The First Taste is the Sweetest". Tell us your most titillating tales of first times, whether it's your cherry poppin' daddies, your kinky initiation, your queer awakening, or your favorite toy discovery. Stories might be shocking, sweet, weird, wholesome, hilarious, or just hot as hell-- we welcome them all. Don't have a story that's on theme? That's okay-- the theme is just a suggestion!

(want to give back to your community? Can't make the show, but want to help others attend? Choose the "contribute to gift tickets" option to fund community tickets for those in economic hardship! Gift tickets are made available as they're funded, no questions asked-- please only take one if you actually need it and if not, save them for those who do. We especially encourage federal workers who are on administrative leave or fired to enjoy a gift ticket, so please consider supporting them!)

Diva Darling is the producer and femme-cee of the standing-room-only sex-themed storytelling show Smut Slam DC, and now of Smut Slam Baltimore. She is proud to have helped Smut Slam International creator Cameryn Moore develop the very first franchise show with DC. She's a sex educator, nightlife/event producer, and writer by dayShe's also a burlesque performer and teacher, an actor, playwright/producer, and an author whose short story "Frenzy" was released last year in Best Women's Erotica of the Year Vol. 8. She's a popular presenter and producer at Nerd Nite DC, leads a polyamory discussion group at the DC Center for the LGBTQ+ Community, and hosts the SpeakTeasy burlesque show. Follow her at .

Lola Kat Yonder is a certified sex educator, sex positive/body positivity advocate & sensual storyteller with over 17 years of experience in the industry. A model-performer, and raving thespian, colleagues have dubbed her the 'Vanna White of Vibrators'! She's been featured in televised commercial work for adult boutiques, adult toy/ lube manufactures, and her very own interview episodes on the award-winning Shameless Sex Podcast, local Delco’s KupMuff Show, and System JO’s All Lubed Up podcast (on which she later became a co-producer). Lola is also extremely proud to have been the official Bucket Babe since Smut Slam first launched in Baltimore in March of 2024, first crossing paths with Diva Darling at Sex Geek Summer Camp in 2022. Lola delights in people being comfortable and loving towards themselves,  their bodies, and with the hearts and bodies of those they care about, firmly believing that a better intimate life begets greater overall quality of life.
