6 String Theory is Phnom Penh’s all-guitar jazz ensemble—a take in the spirit of The Great Guitars (Kessel, Ellis, Byrd & Taylor, Wakenius, Lagrene). Expect standards, blues, and jazz classics delivered with tight interplay, rich harmony, and plenty of musical conversation.

Featuring two familiar faces on the local scene—Gaby Courroux (France) and George Hess (USA)—alongside newcomer James Parm (Canada), the trio brings three distinct musical personalities into one band: lyrical, modern, and straight-ahead… with just enough edge to keep it unpredictable.
