Winter Seed Sowing for Native Plants

Friends of Philomont is hosting a free winter workshop to help community members create abundant native habitat with little effort using the winter sowing method. Learn this method and try it for yourself at this fun and easy workshop. No experience is required, and you don't even need a yard to participate. All materials and seeds will be provided free. The workshop will be held upstairs at Philomont Community Center, so be mindful that ascending stairs is necessary to reach the event.

This workshop is limited to 12, however, if interests exceeds capacity we will initiate a waitlist &/or sequel. A table will be set up for optional seed sharing as well as garden-related book give and take, which can be visited after the workshop. If you have seeds or books to share, feel free to bring them.

While the program and book exchange is all free, Friends of Philomont does accept donations to help support our work and future programming.
