BUT the MINISTRY continues
Here's the scoop --------}
NORTHWOODS LIVING HOPE, (NWLH), which has been in operation for almost three years, is being gifted a house to relocate their ministry and expand their mission to include a pro-life emphasis. With the gift of the house, NWLH has not only put the big building up for sale --- BUT have also SOLD it. Repairs and updating at the new location is diligently being pursued and helpers will be welcome soon.
YES, NWLH is ADDING the care of pregnant women to its mission statement such that NWLH will be a Women’s Shelter and Maternity home. While NWLH has already had the privilege of caring for pregnant women, it is the HEART of the generous donors to make the community aware of this expansion of services to women.
UPCOMING fundraising events for Northwoods Living Hope include:
May 17, Saturday Plant Sale, downtown Phillips, proceeds to go to Northwoods Living Hope.
June 27th Friday Evening, Hope Ministries Color Run: (5:30pm registration, 7pm race, & 8pm SOCK HOP for the entire family!). All proceeds from the Color Run are split between Northwoods Living Hope Women’s Shelter and His House of Hope Men’s Rehabilitation Center.
September 18th, Thursday Evening, 2nd Annual Ladies’ TEA, 5:30pm at the Phillips Municipal Building. This is NWLH’s 2nd annual fundraising Ladies Tea. This year our guest speaker will be giving a pro life message sticking with our theme, “YOU ARE A DAUGHTER OF THE KING”. We are looking for bucket auction items and gentlemen to volunteer to serve the meal.
