We’ll start in Croatia, whose ancient grapes once jump-started California’s wine boom, and move to Hungary, the former darling of European royalty now reclaiming its crown. From there, we’ll dive into Georgia, the birthplace of wine itself—where 8,000 years of qvevri, wild yeast, and ingenuity inspire today’s natural-wine revolution. We’ll finish in Ukraine, where vineyards still thrive, tended by hands that refuse to surrender.
