Storyteller Denise McCormack returns to Philadelphia as part of @PhillyFringe FringeArts on Saturday, September 20 at 7 PM @TheRotunda with The Breath Between, an evocative solo storytelling performance shaped by personal narrative, mythology, folk and fairy tales, song, and spiritual reflection.
Through story and song, McCormack shares profound moments of clarity that have marked her own journey—those rare, breath-catching flashes when meaning crystallizes, time holds still, and truth reveals itself.
These stories are revelatory. They are not merely told—they are lived, felt, and shared in the space between ordinary and extraordinary, where wonder and story converge into knowing.
This production is presented through the support of Patchwork: A Storytelling Guild, whose mission is to foster the art of storytelling and support tellers throughout the region.

About the Artist
Denise McCormack is a celebrated storyteller whose performances are marked by compelling messages, character portrayals, and an intuitive connection with her audience.
She has enchanted audiences at Philadelphia's main stages, favorite haunts of the Lehigh Valley, NYC's Artists Without Borders, the National Storytellers Network conferences, and a variety of other local, regional, and national events and venues.
As president of Patchwork: A Storytelling Guild and a key figure in various other arts and storytelling organizations, Denise has played a vital role in fostering a vibrant storytelling culture. She offers workshops, coaching sessions, and public speaking for healing, connection, and spiritual well-being.
