MHF Regional Gathering: Philadelphia & East Coast - “Trust Unfolding”

Mennonite Healthcare Fellowship Regional Gathering“Trust Unfolding”Germantown Mennonite Church, Philadelphia, PA • October 11, 2025 • 9 AM–4:30 PM

Join us for a day of renewal, community, and meaningful conversation among Christian and Mennonite healthcare professionals. Whether you work in clinical care, mental health, administration, research, public health, community services, housing stability, dental care, or any allied field, this gathering is for you. Together we will explore how trust takes root, "unfolds", and grows throughout our careers and callings.

What to Expect

• Optional Networking/Social Breakfast (8 am) (Coffee & donuts provided)Begin the morning with informal conversation, light music or optional singing, and the chance to reconnect with colleagues—and make new friends.
• Morning worship (9 am formal start)We will open our time together with group singing and brief introductions that center us on the theme of “Trust Unfolding.”
• Restorative justice in healthcareWe will welcoming an MHF Board Member and special guest for a participatory fireside chat exploring restorative approaches to healing and accountability in our work.
• Keynote address & dialogueOur Keynote Speaker will share stories from their work in faith-informed care, then join an open Q&A to deepen the conversation.
• Potluck lunchPlease bring a dish to share, especially if you’re local, to savor fellowship around the table. There will be extra food so all are welcome if coming from afar or otherwise unable to bring a dish easily.
• Stories of transitionIn the afternoon we will hear TED-style talks from peers who will reflect on pivotal moments when trust shaped their careers and callings. All participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences in small groups.
• Ethical Jazz sessionParticipate in MHF's signiture program this year, Ethical Jazz, reflecting on pertinent ethical challenges in healthcare from a Christian and Anabaptist lens.
• Closing reflection & song (4:30)All those who would like to remain for further discussion, networking, and a coffee hour are welcome to stay until 5:30.

We deeply hope this Regional Gathering will offer space to renew your spirit, connect with like‑minded colleagues, and explore how trust shapes our work as healthcare providers. This is a wonderful way to connect with your semi-local MHF member friends and meet new MHF members and others deeply invested in the work of healthcare and in peace & justice.
